Q: Can an instructor create an Equator file with story
problems for students, as an assignment or even as a
test?
A: Most definitely. Anything typed into Equator is
organized in an "assignment" with one or more "problems".
The assignment can be created and saved as a file to be
distributed to students. Each student can load the
assignment into their copy of Equator, and can then work
on the solution, returning the results to the instructor
for review.
Note that Equator files are the same for both Windows and
Mac computers, so there is no need for the instructor to
worry about computer differences.
