Q: How can I draw a diagram to go with a problem?
A: To create a figure:
- Go to the Insert menu, and choose Figure.
- To insert a shape (arrow, ellipse, etc.) into the
figure, either double-click it on the toolbar, or drag the
shape from the toolbar into the figure.
- To highlight a shape in the figure, click on it. The
highlighted shape will feature little blue boxes that can
be dragged to change its size or orientation.
- To move a shape, put the mouse down anywhere on the
shape (except its blue boxes), then drag.
