Q: Will Equator allow a student to arrive at a wrong
answer?
A: Well, a student could simply type in an answer that was
wrong - say "y = 10.2" when the real answer is "y =
100.999". But we assume that the student will work through
a problem and pay attention to hints from Equator. Unless
the student abandons the attempt to solve the problem,
eventually Equator will show the calculator icon. When it
is clicked, Equator will supply the correct numeric
answer.
