A site license permits all faculty and students at an
institution to use Equator for an unlimited period of
time. Faculty and students at the institution may also use
Equator on their personal computers.
The price for a site license is based on the number of
students enrolled at any given time in classes where
Equator is required. There is no additional charge for use
by teachers, or for casual use by others, including
students not enrolled in those classes.
The price for a site license is $36 per student (as
defined above), with a minimum of 20 students.
EXAMPLE. Your school offers three physics courses, but
you plan to use Equator only in one of these courses,
where 25 students typically enroll. The cost of a site
license for your school will be $900. Other science
teachers, and students in other science classes are also
permitted to use Equator, at home or at school, under the
terms of the license. If you later decide to use Equator
in another science classes, you upgrade upgrade the
license to cover the additional students.
To apply for a site license, please provide a
description of the class(es) where Equator would be used,
as well as an estimate of the number of students enrolled
in these classes. Be sure to include your name, e-mail
address, and the name of your institution.
